Owner and principal planner Stacey DeWine has recently earned the prestigious designation of Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP). This globally recognized certification is managed by the International Live Events Association (ILEA), and is only earned through education, performance, experience, and service to the industry, and reflects a commitment to professional conduct and ethics. It requires a minimum number of years in the industry and passing a very rigorous exam that includes 100 multiple choice and essay questions. Now more than ever, professionals within the industry recognize the CSEP as an influential designation for the education and the promotion of professional ethics and standards.
Currently, there are only 461 CSEPs in the world, and she is one of two of them in San Antonio.
“The CSEP designation is a highly sought-after designation, and extremely difficult to obtain due to the intimate knowledge one must possess across every facet of a special event.” Stacey said.
“It is the hallmark of event professionalism and knowledge. This designation gives me access to an elite network of event professionals that offer referrals, support and industry knowledge from all over the globe. I am so proud to wear this badge of honor, and I can’t wait to see where this designation leads Panache Event Group,”
